“Staff were all delightful. At end of October hotel was wonderfully quiet. Sauna and spa area were a real bonus. For the quality of accommodation was very good value.”
“A delightful experience. The island and the hotel exceeded expectations. Every morning, we went to the bakery to buy croissants and bread and the supermarket for fruit and then went to a nearby cafe where they were happy for people to bring their own food while they supplied the coffee. The hotel itself was stunning, worth a visit just to experience the decor. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and we had sole use of the spa and elegant drawing room. The pool area is beautiful and the bar calm and relaxing. From the hotel, there is a wonderful view of the castle and the square. Walk to the beach Les Dames, the short way past some interesting buildings and return the longer route through the nature reserve or cycle like everyone else does. I cannot recommend this hotel and town highly enough. Oh and there are shops and restaurants aplenty a short stroll from the hotel.”

“L'ensemble est superbement décoré, de bon gout, un mix de moderne et d'ancien. Petit déj cher mais copieux et de qualité. Le spa, appréciable, bien qu'il manque un jacuzzi. Chambre /literie au top. Très bien situé dans la ville . Bref un excellent week end dans cet hotel au calme. Nous conseillons vivement.”
