“The hotel is central to the town overlooking a small square which holds part of the Friday market. The room was very comfortable with excellent facilities. The breakfast room is in the converted cellar, colourful and using local crockery which can be purchased from a shop less than 100yds away! There is ample choice including locally grown strawberries.”

“Lovely old building, full of character. We have stayed here three times and always get a great welcome. Each time we have been travelling by bike and so the locked garage forstore the bikes overnight is particularly appreciated. There is even a baby grand piano, which pianists can use if you ask nicely! The hotel does not do an evening meal, but there are plenty of restaurants, bars and brasseries close by. The rooms are very comfortable, the little piles of sweets are always a favourite with certain members of our party. This was the first time we have had the time to take advantage of the breakfast and it was pretty spectacular. The usual bread, croissants, coffee and cereals but also four different cold meats, more cheeses than I could count, fruits, yogurts, even nougat! An absolute feast and more than enough to keep you going until well beyond lunchtime. Looking forward to our next stay here!”

“We arrived at 8:30 in the evening and the hotel staff stayed late to let us in, show us a free parking spot and show us the room and facilities. We checked out early due to further travel south and they let us just leave the keys in the room. i cannot recommend this hotel enough - the kids loved it, the beds were sink in comfortable and the location was excellent! if you have children you will not go wrong with this hotel!”
“Very stylish and comfortable room. The hotel itself was steeped in history. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Fantastic location overlooking a pretty square with bars and restaurants but nevertheless very quiet and peaceful. Even the church bells stopped overnight to not disturb your sleep.”
