“The hotel, though modest, is decorated with charm and taste. The location is excellent! Within a few minutes' walk one finds the Martime Museum, La Corderie, and the famous frigate, Hermione (sailed with Lafayette to aid in the American War of Independence and built anew a few years ago). The lovely center square is a 5 minute walk. There's a great open air market just 150 meters away from the hotel -three days a week. A good-sized, covered market hall with fresh seafood is even closer. Monoprix is on the market street. Laudrette around the corner and free on-street parking a couple of city blocks away, as well is in large, free exterior square a bit further.”
