“Lovely breakfast both mornings and very friendly staff serving it. Adjacent to Corfe Castle station on the Swanage Steam Railway that provides a great service and a real flavour of 1950's Britain with steam trains through to the seaside. The station is a period gem. The Purbeck Way walk from the village to Swanage was great; very hilly but a lovely 3hr ramble and a steam train back to Corfe. Great food available at nearby pubs in the village. Fantastic Nepalese restaurant in Wareham. Hotel menu OK but didn't offer the variety of the nearest pub. Lovely period property with huge potential and passing steam trains to boot!!”

“A lovely small hotel. My room was lovely and overlooked Corfe Castle. Furniture was modern in the bedroom, older style in the bathroom. Spotlessly clean throughout.”
