“The hotel is so amazing and surrounded by nature. We dropped out bags off quite early before check in time and they gladly accepted them. Staff were very accommodating, friendly and spoke English. Across from the reception building is a hotel restaurant with beautiful wooden architecture and large windows. They had an onsen which is free of charge, water was pretty nice and hot. There were a bunch of ammenities kit, towels, all readily available at the onsen. Our rooms were minimalistic with white walls, wooden flooring and bed, windows with a few of the forest. Bathroom walls were concrete, a sound system was provided to play music of your own choice for ambience. Across from our room was a one storey “Free Bird” lounge room for guests to play music from the record players or iPad provided. Records, books, magazines, lounges, noodle cups, freshly brewed cold tea, snacks, and bathroom is available on this site.”

Quiet location to really chill out without hearing other visitors. Food at Woodside was perfect and healthy.”
“Look no further, this place is ace. Nestled in the woods but also super easy to access by public transport. Intimate but also with a break out massive living room area where people can read books, listen to vinyl deck music and huddle around a campfire that the staff will run and surprise you with goodies such a hot marshmallows and other spontaneous attentions. Oh and the onsite restaurant is excellent, as in gunning for rewards excellent.”
