“Great location, between lake and forest, beautifully manicured gardens which must be beautiful in spring and fall, nice onsen, very good Japanese food, amiable staff which speak good english, convenient hotel shuttle, walking distant to shrine, Tori in the lake and Moto-Hakone-Ko. Upon check-out I arranged for my luggage to be delivered in the afternoon at Hakone-Yumoto station (extra fee), so I enjoyed a nice day of walking and sightseeing without needing to come back to hotel to pick up my suitcase. Very convenient !”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is beautiful, clean and friendly staff. Great service in the lounge bar area and the French restaurant is exceptional. The shuttle bus drivers were very attentive and helpful. We had a little problem with incorrect duplication of booking but this was sorted out very quickly and efficiently from both the hotel staff and booking.com, which was really appreciated. Would definitely stay there again. Lake Ashi is amazing and there is lots to do for families or just couples. We wished we could have stayed longer.”
