“You could not wish for more kind, generous and helpful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble including retrieving lost guests (due to roadworks and google maps), dispatching property left behind or giving detailed information on places to visit. A wonderful stay in an authentic home of some three hundred years. Terrific breakfasts which included some dishes from old family recipes. Decent restaurants close by and lots of interesting places can be reached for a day of sightseeing. A great place to simply hangout and relax in the gardens or home if you are tired of traveling around.”
“This is a house from the 1700s refurbished into a lovely hotel. You feel right at home with a wonderful host waiting to welcome you as soon as you arrive. This home has been in her family for generations. She has become a sweet new friend and knows the province of Galicia so well and helps all her guests prepare routes for sightseeing and was vital in helping us learn more of Galicia's culture and history. I wish we would've spent more time just staying at the inn. Breakfast is specially made by a kind staff member that soon became our good friend! Don't skip out on the opportunity to eat breakfast, it's delicious! She and her staff made this trip so much more enjoyable! We will be back soon, this time with a larger crowd and a longer stay!”
“It is a lovely property. The owner, Carmen, was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. We do not speak Spanish and it was difficult to understand each other, but a translating app. helped. Chino, her assistant, was marvelous to work with, and helpful in our communications. Great breakfast. Lovely family chapel on the property. A nice rural setting. A fantastic restaurant (Roberto's) was within walking distance.”
