“The rooms were beautiful, traditional style bedrooms that made us feel as if we were back in a real family compound in Pingyao ancient city. The entire room was very clean and tidy and included extra amenities such as tea and slippers for us both. We were extremely comfortable in our room. What really made this hotel the best experience was the family running the hotel. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay and make sure we had the best impression and experience of Pingyao. They even treated my travel partner and I to a complimentary dinner of traditional dishes from Pingyao and allowed us to ask questions about their lives in the city and Shaanxi province in general. We are just learning mandarin, but were able to communicate well and learn a great amount from them. I hope to be back again for a longer stay as they truly made us feel at home during our time there.”

“Super flink personale. Taxaen kunne ikke køre hele vejen til hotellet pga. Bymuren, så personalet kom og hentede os der hvor taxaen satte os af. De havde paraply med til os (skærme for solen). Om aftenen kom de ind på værelset med vandmelon til os. Rigtig fine værelser og omgivelser. Dog en meget hård seng - også efter kinesiske standarder.”
