“At first everything was fine, but we arrived on a Sunday and stayed until Monday. Nobody tells you that all the facilities are very limited during the Sunday and weekdays! We wanted to eat at the restaurant but it was closed before 7 pm only available a snack in the cafeteria. The bars closed without notice just before 8 pm as we were having a drink. You can imagine that also the gym and sauna were closed as well as we arrived. They told us to ask for in the morning 30 mins before we want it to use. We did and after 30 mins they told us that it could only be opened in the afternoon. We had planned to leave at 1 pm.”

“The facilities and layout of the hotel and amenities was excellent and well though out. The proximity to the beach from the pool area is quite unique for an establishment in Ecuador. The beach is beautiful and expansive. Unfortunately there was some trash washing up from the ocean which is really sad to see. Food at the main restaurant was excellent and wonderfully presented. Availability of the menu items improved over the weekend in comparison to our stay during the week.”
