Amuse bouche, then chef's speciality, then 3 courses, plus cheese if required, then petit fours with coffee. They couldn't have done more. You should publicise this restaurant.”

“This was a great place to stay - right next to Lac de Bourget. You are literally at the lake in aprox 100 m. There is a beach, boat rentals, pedaloos, etc within very close walking distance. The hotel itself was great. The staff speaks multiple languages, and is willing to assist with anything. The room was large and comfortable. There is a restaurant, however we did not eat there so I can't review. Breakfast was standard French breakfast - nothing exceptional, but good. Staff was very accommodating when we arrived late to breakfast - no problem. Parking directly on-site was very easy. We would definitely stay there again.”
“The family run hotel is immaculately managed from reception through to the excellent (should be a starred) restaurant. We had booked another restaurant (1*), however decided to cancel and go to the Hotel's restaurant. The owner's son returned from Mayfair in the UK and set up the restaurant in 2015. We ate there the week after he started and felt it would be great to try it again - a wise decision. Great menu, beautifully prepared and executed. Staff were knowledgeable about the chef's food and attentive as necessary for a great evening. The rooms are well presented and very comfortable - ours had view over the lake. The lake is only a 5 minute walk and there are great restaurants along the foreshore.”

“There was apparently an attempt to modernize the hotel in the not-too-distant-past, but nevertheless, the whole place imparts a feeling of 'has-been'. This was accentuated by the fact that we were there on a Monday, the only day of the week when the restaurant doesn't function (even in high season, i.e., August!). The room was ok: nothing fancy (hangers apparent...) and bed a bit too soft, but the bathroom was big enough and had a comfortably-sized shower (except that the shower head support tended to become disassociated from the wall). The room was quiet. The woman at reception also served breakfast, and was pleasant and friendly.”
