“What a wonderful place! Franziska has exquisite decoration tastes and knows how to welcome her guests with free drinks and delicious little snacks! Amazing! We just ADORED her place and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect... from the comfort of the bed, to the excellent breakfast and stunning views on the ocean and mountains. She even booked for us the best table in a nearby restaurant and gave us some good travel tips. The property is ultra design, super clean and we felt home after less then a minute! Quiet-eco friendly house and not too crowded made a perfect stop-over visiting the national Abel Tasman park. Strongly recommended!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Split Apple Lodge, our room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. Breakfast was fabulous with a wide variety of various foods. The guest lounge was comfortable and we enjoyed use of the microwave and kettle for preparing small snacks. The fire during winter was warm and welcoming after a days trek around Abel Tasman Park. The board games were a great way to pass the evening. Fran and Daniel are fantastic hosts and made us feel most welcome.”
“Stunning views of the sea and hills from this small inn, beautifully run by Fran and Daniel. It was conveniently near the Abel Tasman track, and, of course, Split Apple beach. Very modern and serene decor with a large common room for meals, socializing or sitting by the fire. And Fran and Daniel could not have been welcoming and helpful. The meals are vegetarian, and at night with the winding road, it is easier to eat there.”
