“Clean room,comfy bed,tv,strong A/C,shower with high water pressure. Good located between the 2 harbours - one you arrive from Manaus (15min.walk) and the other for Macapa (5min.walk). 10 min walk to City Center along "Malecon". Go out of hotel,turn right,walk until the first bus station (a hut on the side of the waterfront after 3 minutes).There you can flag down buses for "Alter do chau" (45min drive/3reail per person) Breakfast is a huge buffet!fill you up for the whole day!”

“The hotel is ok for a stay after, for example, a boat ride. Santarem weather is not easy to bear for a European, we think. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Each and every one of them worked to make our stay as pleasant as possible. And reception staff were really really helpful on the night we left: with their collaboration we were able to get back our bag, which we had left on a taxi. Thanks to all involved!”

“Understand that you're getting a pretty basic accommodation, but with that in mind my partner and I were more than happy with the place. Convenient location on a major thoroughfare and within walking distance of downtown. The staff were extremely helpful, although my partner speaks a fair bit of Portuguese. Restaurant recommendations, printing our boarding passes, arranging our taxi to the airport -- just very helpful. Additionally the free breakfast they provide is delicious. Also, the views from the balcony over the harbor are amazing.”

“Great location, right on the waterfront. Nice breakfast. Wifi was surprisingly good - traveled to Manaus after my stay and the connection was embarrassing in comparison. I see a lot of reviews talking about rooms without windows. This can be a good thing and was for me. No windows = no bugs but is also a plus for the air conditioning.”
