“Everything was nice at the hotel especially the staff.”
“Our room was large and the breakfast buffet was ok. Nice staff as well. The Benjamin seems to be located on the only nice street in the centre of Durban, nice restaurants and bars just around the corner. If you ask for a room at the back of the hotel, the noise won’t bother you at night.”

“I have always loved the Benjamin and generally stay in a superior room. This time, I booked a standard room and was much less impressed. In brief, it is a restored historical building that is well maintained. However, each time someone flushed in this part of the building (Room #31) there was one heckuva racket. I'd planned to sleep in - but could not because I was so terribly disturbed.”
