“The pub is old and has history, the rooms are a good size with everything you need, nice comfortable beds, a little dated in areas, a few things needs updating but I'm sure the new owners know all this and are already on it. Give it a little time and all will be good. The bar is nice and cosy, the staff are great and the owners can't do enough for you, very helpful even offered to pick us up if we got stuck. Food was very nice, could do with a few more choices on the menu but other than that no problems, breakfast was great. Room service was great, tea, coffee, chocolate, and biscuits replenished every day.”
“Made to feel very welcome and room was comfortable although a little tired. Good food and selections of beers and spirits in bar. Very good breakfast.A good base to explore the north Cornwall coast.”
“Loved the Pub Trivia night - got to mix with the Hotel owners and some of the great local identities. Breakfast was very good.”
