“Excellent staff in the bar and restaurant, delicious menu. Superb breakfast. We brought our dog and were allocated a room with an outdoor terrace which was very convenient. A box of doggy treats had been placed in the room, plus dog blankets and dog-dishes. Excellent attention to detail.”

“A really comfortable hotel in a quiet location. We heard an owl hooting both nights. The staff were great (apart from a slightly offhand manager checking us out) and even offered to keep the restaurant open for us on a quiet Monday night. The dog friendly rooms are well situated and feel of good quality. We liked having a proper dressing table.. Definitely worth trying for a Dartmoor holiday or a night if passing by.”
