Important Notice
- Some rooms may be allocated in the 'Castle View Cottage', a South facing conversion of the original stables. Now encompassing 12 en-suite bedrooms over 2 floors with castle views, with the upper floor having bay views also.<br><br>Due to ongoing renovation works, there will be scaffolding up from the beginning of December 2017 until 21 December 2017. Windows are being replaced throughout.<br><br>Please note that the kitchen will be closed from 11 December 2017 to 15 December 2017.

“Room at rear in stable type accommodation. Probably more recent addition to the main building and as we had an end room downstairs, it was quiet and very comfortable. We could, however, hear the people in the room above us at night- so insulation not so good. But they weren't too noisy and we slept well. Good Breakfast. NOTE: Stayed one night at The Belle View Hotel, Aberystwyth - double room with on-suite in August with wonderful breakfast £65.00 for night for the double! Sorry but price and breakfast out-does the Lion. But would return to Lion again. Good lounge and bar there.”
“Central location (though some distance from the sea); easy parking nearby (though hotel carpark mostly full); pleasant spacious lounge; separate bar doing very good meals -- I only had one but wished I'd had more; helpful staff; excellent single room, about the best in terms of useful space and quality of furnishings, en-suite and general decor I've ever had in a small room -- only the view (fire-escape) was less than excellent. I could have happily stayed longer.”
