“I booked Tsala Treetop Lodge for a special Occasion - to propose marriage to my girlfriend. Karin and her entire Team supported me excellent with my plan, prepared our room with a bubble bath, candles everywhere, a burning fireplace, sparkling wine and snacks. It was like a perfect dream. Thanks to all of you for this special moment. The staff is 100 % professional, friendly and we always felt the fantastic hospitality of the entire Tsala Team. The cuisine was one of the best we experienced and enjoyed in South Africa. It‘s totally worth it to experience the Tsala feeling. We will definitely be back for our anniversary.”

“This property exceeds all expectations, and has to be experienced to understand how amazing it is. The lodges are accessed along walkways up in the trees and it is like staying in an incredible tree house. The views are fantastic. The lodge itself has everything you could wish for, the amenities and facilities are fabulous. It is also spotlessly clean. It was our honeymoon and everything was perfect, all the little touches, champagne, nibbles, but most of all the handwritten notes were particularly appreciated. Even a hot water bottle in the bed at night! The log fire is really romantic. The staff can't do enough for you and are so friendly. The food is great and we particularly enjoyed Zinzi. If you get the opportunity to go don't hesitate you won't be disappointed. It's amazing.”

“We enjoyed our stay there, good service and nice staff. I liked there welcome Ice tea drink. Room we amazing and big in size. Amazing view over the forest with good balcony. Bathroom was nice with outdoor shower. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed seeing monkeys around restaurant at breakfast time. Hotel have some games, books & DVD for guest to borrow them. We had dinner at Zinzi restaurant which was average in selection but but the do have a good zinger cheesecake.”

The Honeymoon Suite was exquisite in the daytime but was transformed into a magical, candlelit oasis by the turndown service. Food quality was high in general but the breakfast was absolutely great. Just amazing.”
