“Everything in the room nice /clean and functioning well. Helpful receptionists. You have a choice of hot-food for breakfast where you are given a short menu. I didn't have dinner there, I rather regret. A bus-stop is just outside the hotel to Madrid and one nearby opposite for returning [but be careful to get the right one of the two from the bus station] Train only a ten-minute walk away. Tress Cantos is a likable place but a little easy to get lost as no building seems to be built before 1970! I prefer this quieter area to busy Madrid, though.”
“Very efficient set-up, and good value lunch and dinner. I stayed for a week and had no complaints. Rather, it was a very pleasant stay. Tres Cantos is a new town with good services, including a direct bus to the airport (Terminal 4), stopping outside the hotel - just 2.6 euros for a 50 minute journey. Or you can take an overground train (line C1 or C10) from Terminal 4 to Chamartin and then change to Tres Cantos (line C4). Journey time is a little less than 50 minutes, depending on connection, but a little more expensive than the bus. There is a good park for walking just opposite the hotel.”
