“The only highlight with Villas do Pratagy is the infinity pool - it really is lovely - but that's about it. Praia Pratagy (the beach), accessed through the Wyndham resort across the road, is a lovely beach. We didn't mind the walk up and down the hill to get to the beach as we are both active, but less fit or mobile people might struggle with the walk (especially up the hill). We discovered on our last day Casa Caiada, which is a separate hotel but on the same property as Villas do Pratagy. It was very nice, staff were super friendly and helpful, it has a lovely beach-front view and a much nicer feel and ambience. We had dinner at the restaurant on our last night - it was lovely and far superior to Villas do Pratagy. A total contrast. We regretted not knowing about Casa Caiada earlier or staying there.”
