“A little noisy but great value for money and on the most beautiful part of the lake called the Pilgrim's Trail. Great Asian breakfast. I recommend any international visitors download Baidu the map app and put in the Chinese address: 杭州玉榕西庐度假酒店 . It's easy to find on GPS with this map. Google Maps is BLOCKED in China so don't rely on it!”

“The setting is nice, not quite a "cottage resort", but almost; the bathroom is unusual, pretty much inside the room (there is a modesty curtain), but with a huge round bath it makes a welcoming impression. They have bikes which you can borrow, quite crappy ones, but free. On bike it's 10 minutes to the main lake, on foot probably 20 minutes.”
