“The property was quite different to a normal hotel, a bit more design orientated and stylish. It was clean and comfy!”

“If you are looking for somewhere that has a pool and where you can totally unpack your clothes then move on, this is not the place for you. The Zen Rooms in Jalan Besar is in a 'boutique' hotel which you know means the rooms are going to be small but they are so well designed! A lot of thought has gone into them, even so far as having a safe and a small refrigerator in them. The bed is comfortable and the shower room more than adequate. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and although not in the most salubrious of areas it felt safe and there are lots of local places to eat and there is even a bar hidden no more than 100 yards away! The metro station is about a 10 minute walk away and there is a supermarket and small shopping mall near it.”
