“Had a quiet comfortable stay at L'Aigle d'Or. Lovely location in an Alsacien village away from the crowds. Our suite was comfortable and spacious.Good bathroom with excellent shower. Very good food in the restaurant.Good wine list lots of local Alsace wine. Good choices for breakfast. Owner and staff very attentive and friendly.”

“It was good to be able to eat outside on our first night. Pauline was superb and made our stay special. She was very welcoming and her different language skills were helpful; she changed from French, to English, to German or Polish instantly to accommodate need. She reacted well to guests whilst remaining friendly but professional. We were very impressed. Our room was light and airy, clean with plenty of room to store our cases and clothes. It is six years since we last visited and we will go again and not leave it so long. Four generations of the same family have owned and run this great Logis. The food, as always, was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
