“It was a gorgeous room, large and luxurious. It was a beautiful view of the water and the chocolates were so delicious we tracked them down to get more.”
“Wow - this place is amazingly unconventionally brilliant in its reno and conversion to accommodation. We absolutely LOVED it and its location is pretty hard to beat looking out over the bay in the beautiful town of Stanly in Tasmania. We were on a foodies tour of Tasmania and aimed to eat at HURSEY's seafood which to our surprise as we checked in, was right outside our window. Our King bed was super comfortable, the shower with its nod to Tasmanian smooth river stones was marvelous, and the delightful touches like chocolate truffles on our arrival was very welcome. The luxurious amenities are to be praised, and the communal area is very modern and throughtful with magazines, a wonderful chess board, and guest bicycles provided (even with a little bicycle pump!) Well done VDL in Stanley. Highly recommended !!”
