“This hostel goes way beyond what people usually believe a "hostel" is. I say this with a travelling experience of over 20 years and running group accommodations and guesthouses myself for over 10 years. We felt welcomed from the first moment we arrived until the one we left. Prices are affordable and the quality you get is the same as in a hotel. We stayed in a double room: it was brand new, clean, light and airy, smelling new also, it had everything we needed and nothing that we don't. Enough storage places, enough space in the room for 2 people to move around without bumping into each other, table and 2 chairs to sit. Matresses comfortable, light pillows and duvets, bright white, superclean linen and towels. The bathroom is also equipped with everything you need. Heating works very well, too, which is great after a cold day in the city. Having an opportunity to store luggage after checkout was extremely practical and comfortable. Thank you A&O :)”

“The room was clean and the bathroom had to be shared only with the people from the room. Nice staff and there is always someone to help you. The bathroom was clean and had no weird smells. The beds were quite comfortable and it is very close to the train station.”

“Perfect Location, 24 h reception, lockers for the luggage (although it's an extra charge), the Train Station is just around the Corner which is really convenient. It took us about 15-20 minutes to go Downtown (and believe me, we took our sweet time)”

“I stayed here one night last night as a stopover to another destination. Returned to see some of Salzburg in October and chose to stay at this modern place very close to Salzburg Central Station and just across from Wyndham Grand Hotel. Didn't spend much time in my dorm room, but it had plenty of rooms for my bags, a locker for valuables, and shower with sink and separate toilet. Found a nice place to take out pizza and sandwiches nearby and eat in the downstairs tables by the bar. I also made use of their kitchen and refrigerator for some drinks and food. I did some internet searches in the big downstairs area that has also cubicles with couches and cushioned chairs. Also, the A&O's breakfast was worth the 6 Euros. Though one morning I went to the train station for some pastries and coffee. The walk to the Old Town of Salzburg wasn't too far and had a beautiful walk along the Salzach River.”
