“Breakfast choice was good. Staff was helpful, initially was given the upper storey but found the room need to climb up a steep staircase before reaching the bedroom, staff immediate offer to change to ground floor coz my mum legs got problem in climbing.”
“Rooms comfy, staff very friendly. I liked the train theme. Would stay again. No faults at all”
“The room location is great, in close prximity to central station and theme of hotel is nice.”
“The location of the hotel is very good. 5 minutes walk to central train station.”
“The hotel is very conveniently situated about a 5 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal station, about 5 minutes from Damrak and about 10 to 15 minutes from Dam Square. The location on Prins Hendrikkade is a very busy part of Amsterdam, as you’d expect in such a central location, and as well as trains, you’ve also got easy access to buses, trams and the metro. I was given a check in time of 7 am, and arrived at about mid-day. Although my room wasn’t ready, I checked in and was given a luggage receipt for my case, which was stored in a secure room while I went out for a bite to eat. During my stay I chatted to several members of the staff, and all were very friendly, and took an interest in my trip to Holland, suggesting some interesting places to visit. In general, the A Train is a pleasant hotel. Given the location, I think you’d be hard pressed to find anything this good in this price bracket.”
“Superb location. Quirky - train theme very interesting indeed! Substantial breakfast. Friendly staff. Squeaky clean accommodation. We were on the second floor at the back so very very quiet resulting in good quality sleeping! We would definitely stay here again”
“the best location if you are travelling by train staff very friendly and helpful Rooms are small but everything you need for a short stay Very clean breakfast is basic but fine”
“Comfy bed, interesting room (old Dutch suite), friendly and helpful staff, very handy location”
“Great location, wonderful breakfast, super employees”
“İt's a museum/hotel. There is a museum in the lobby. A museum of trains!”
