“Short walk from the tram, restaurants, and a 7-11. Rooms are pretty big compared to other hotels.”
“Although small by world standards, it was quite large compared to a capsule! The room had everything I needed - a fridge, a bathtub, a place to hang things, and a laundry downstairs (300 Yen for a wash). It's a 3 minute walk from Tenmokan tram stop and in the middle of a restaurant district, and there was a supermarket down the road. The staff didn't speak much English but were super friendly and efficient. There was a lot of variety for breakfast.”
“The location of APA Tenmonkan is very convenient, you can find all the shops and restaurants you need, and the tourist information centre where you can buy your one day cute pass is right across the main road. I stayed in a single room and the room size is very good and spacious. Staff is friendly and help us to book a taxi to the train station. Cost for taxi to train station is very reasonable, around 750 yen, and we have 3 person, one bus ride is already 170 yen per person. Coming from the airport you simply has to take the airport shuttle and get off at Tenmokan, walking to the hotel is only 5 minutes.”
“This place was great! Affordable, clean, and comfortable ”
“Booked guest rooms in average are bigger than rooms of other hotels in cities. Good location with shopping area and restaurants just nearby. Reasonable price also.”
“The location was great, and the room was very clean.”
“Sufficient breakfast, great location and friendly staff”
“This hotel is close to Tenmonkan and is easy to locate. The twin room is spacious enough to open 2 briefcases. The breakfast is simple, but good. There are some Japanese style rooms for breakfast.”
“- The room is huge for business hotel. Actually, I booked single room but what I've got is double room with small double bed. Nice! - Free wifi has good connection. - Powerful hair dryer!”
“This is a very comfortable and exceptionally clean and stylish no frills hotel. The room (we had a twin room) was larger than average for Japan standards. The location is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on staying in Kagoshima if they want a reasonably priced hotel in the centre of town. We did not visit the restaurant though.”
