“EVERY detail taken care of, immaculate, friendly service, excellent imaginative food. I felt pampered without being fussed over.”
“we have stayed several times..Always classy. A by-gone era feeling. Our only complaint (lol): the bed was so comfortable, we just about missed breakfast !!”
“We stayed in the Foxglove room for two nights which is a very generous size. Very central location near Fort Street with ample parking. Complementary Appetizers were a very nice touch each evening. The room was beautifully decorated and had a Jacuzzi tub. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Good, fast, reliable internet. A special thank you to Chantal for outstanding service and being so helpful and attentive.”
“Staff is very helpful with activities in Victoria, and are eager to help in any way. Breakfasts are special, as well as late afternoon snacks.”
“The room is amazing and the staff is so sweet. The property is gorgeous and well located.”
“Most amazing experience, definitely booking to come back. Incredible value, breakfast was amazing, sheets and beds made me want to linger in bed all day!”
“We've been traveling over 30 countries , slept in a lot of hotels but this one is now on my top three in the world. What a great romantic place, a place where hospitality is understood and the service was outstanding. Great breakfast. A big THANKS”
“The best of Abigail's is their staff's hospitality and the details in their services. When checking in, one of the staff showed us around the facilities, gave us a map and described where to go for a sightseeing. He even held the afternoon appetizer for us (we arrived at the end of the meal time). The hotel also provide a list of restaurants with different choices e.g. European, Asian, Fast food, so no need to searching around on the internet. The room is well-decorated in some senses showing a Victorian style, yet it's very clean with hardly any dust on the furniture. The heater is great and able to keep our room warm and cozy despite the 3-5 Celsius weather outside. Abigail's also offered a library in the lobby with board-games and tea of your choices. Breakfast was great & yummy and the menu changed everyday. Overall, far greater services than we'd ever expected!”
“My girlfriend and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday and our 4 year anniversary. Abagail's was the perfect place for a romantic get away. We enjoyed a wood burning fire every night in the fire place and soaked in the spacious jetted tub. The room was spotless and spacious. The breakfast that is included in the rate was amazing. Also, the nightly hors d'oeuvres that are served in the lobby was a nice touch. While this hotel is further out than most of the hotels in Victoria it is still in very walk-able range to everything. The small amount of extra walking you do is well worth it considering the quality of the accommodation.”
“Excellent hotel, great room, friendly and helpful staff with a great breakfast and in walking distance to everything”
