“On arrival I received one of the warmest welcomes from a hotel that I have ever had and this hospitality continued throughout my stay (sadly only one night). The evening meal was local Italian home cooking at its very best (and for a very reasonable price) and on having agreed to have 'some ham and cheese' as part of breakfast, enough turned up on my plate to feed probably three people. Owners Eva and Lorella speak excellent English and the room was bright, cosy and quiet. Thoroughly recommended.”
“The staff were very friendly and very helpful, they done all they could to make our stay as as stress free as possible. If you stay there you must have the evening meals, all home cooked and the pasta they make is tremendous. We stayed in room 11 we had a big balcony with chairs. The only problem is there is no lift so light cases are a must.”
“A family-run hotel. Sisters, Lorella and Eva were extremely warm, helpful and efficient. I needed to get to the 2017 Andrea Bocelli concert held in Laiatico and Lorella helped me arrange all the necessary transport without any hassle on my part. She also made the arrangements in such a way that saved me dollars, thank you, Lorella. Hotel was very comfortable and within walking distance to local amenities and only a bus ride to Volterra. Room was clean and very spacious, and I enjoyed the lovely decors. Very safe and would stay there again on my next visit without a doubt.”
“Great staff, super hospitable. She let us choose the room between the two availables, she offered us coffee and explained very well about what to see in Volterra, where to park and so on. About the room it was very nice, the bathroom was huge.”
