“Hotel room was quite large, breakfast was very good and it was made from local materials! Surroundings of the hotel are the best possible for mountain walking and biking! Also the road from Nice airport France to Vernante Italy was fantastic!”

“We have stayed at this hotel before and went back there because the restaurant is so good. We were not disappointed. We had stayed at the main hotel across the road previously but it was fully booked this time, however the rooms in the Albergo are very comfortable, individual and modern and well insulated from the busy main road on which it is set. The restaurant is excellent. We had a set menu which was delicious and a very good local wine. All of the ingredients are local and the restaurant staff talk about both food and wine with knowledge and passion. Highly recommended. Breakfast too is very good indeed. Buffet style with huge choice of item including freshly baked breads, cakes and biscuits and tended by a charming young waiter!”

“I booked a hotel at 5:50 with booking.com and arrive within 10 minutes the staff were helpful the was a nice little bar attached to the hotel the room was clean with a little balcony we ate in the restaurant the food was local produce have a very good standard if if a little pricey at over €100 for two of us for one course and cheese and a bottle of wine Wi-Fi was available The breakfast was included in the price which was very good value and excellent selection”

“We got upgrated and spent a night in very nice chalet across the street which is owned by the same family. Access to the spa (4pm-8pm) included in the price. Big selection for breakfast. We also had dinner in the restaurant in Albergo Nationale - great food and wine, professional service, pricey but worth trying. In general - very nice stay!!!”
