“The Alpenhof was a real country inn in a beautiful location in the German Alps. From what I understand, it has been run by the same family for quite some time, and they supply much of the food in the restaurant from their own farm. The staff was incredibly friendly and went to great lengths to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very nice, with beautiful carved wooden ceilings and walls and wrap-around porches featuring views of the mountains. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were excellent. If you are looking for a relaxing authentic German inn experience, this is the place to stay.”
