“It was so quiet that sleeping was easy. I watched the sunrise sitting on the bed sipping my coffee. Awesome views of the bridge and bay.”
“The locale was amazing, tucked along the riverbank away from the noise of the city and traffic. Extremely quiet and private with expansive grounds, lawn, trees, and picnic tables on the waterfront with a lovely view of the Alsea River and Historic Alsea bridge. It felt more like a state park or campground than a hotel, which was definitely a plus. The adjoining restaurant was very good and offered beautiful water front view dining. The breakfast fare offered a nice start to the day. Highly recommend.”

“This hotel has a quaint little restaurant and bar in it and they serve amazing food and drinks. In addition, there is a big grassy area outback by the river with firepits and bbqs ans picnic tables. It has an incredible view! I loved it!”
“I sat in the bar and made some friends with some locals. Wife and I went beachcombing and found some neat items. Tho the beach there is very small.”
“Bed was good and we slept well. The location was great and the vie of the bay was wonderful. The employees at this property were very friendly and very helpful. The bar facility was nice and spacious We would definitely stay there again. There are several good restaurants close by with good food.”
“The restaurant was great the food was wonderful although I don't recommend the clam chowder it was weird. I did like our room once we were moved to bottom floor. Less noise from neighboring rooms. I liked the accomodated us to move us to a different room I have health issues and going down long halls and etc were difficult on upper level. They weren't too happy about doing this though but they did it anyways. For the value I think it was pretty fair. The bay view was spectacular.”
“The place is in a pretty bad state of disrepair. It needs to have a few million spent on it in upgrades and maintenance. The front looks good but walk around back by the pool and it looks like the pigpen it is. They had two queen beds in our room that would have accommodated one king at best. Bathrooms are outdated. TV and other storage is practically non existent. I won't ever stay there again.”
