“The hotel has amazing grounds. The pool area overlooks the Rio Mayo valley and has a beautiful view of the valley, which can be enjoyed at breakfast as the hotel restaurant overlooks the view too. The hotel grounds include an area of forest, where the hotel grows its own coffee (which it serves at breakfasts). Included in a stay is a guided walk through the forest down to the river. We really enjoyed our walk; we saw monkeys, many birds and our guide was really informative about the flora and fauna. The hotel has a very relaxed friendly vibe and, as it is a little out of the town centre, we enjoyed chilling out by the pool in the afternoons and watching the spectacular sunsets over the valley. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful, happy to provide restaurant recommendations and other local information. The rooms are very clean, spacious, light and airy with view to the garden.”
