“Unusual place to stay the night, but conversion has been undertaken in a tasteful manner. Perhaps because of its previous use as a cell, the room seemed somewhat larger than is generally the case in German hotels. Don't know if it was a design feature, but you cannot close the door to your room. Instead it automatically swings into place behind you, closing with a satisfying "clunk" as if you are being locked in. Excellent location for the centre of town and its restaurants and shops. Nice view of the town from the lift and the rooftop restaurant.”
