“It's a very convenient location right in the middle of the old town. The room was comfortable and value for money. The cafe on the ground floor offers all sorts of lovely things for breakfast”
“Great location in old towm. Perfect price-quality.”
“The reception staff was exceptional. We had a sandwich and tea downstairs and it was excellent. The view of the town square was beautiful. Short walk to the river.”
“Great central position, close to shopping, restaurants and the river fronts.”
“Perfect location friendly staff modern well appointed room. Good breakfast below. ”
“Excellent hotel, superb location, large comfortable room with good ensuite facilities. Located right in the old quarter and 100m from the river.”
“We loved this hotel. It was an authentic old style building but the rooms had recently been renovated and were modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and there was always one staff member there who spoke good English (important for us as we have no German). The view from our room of the Jesuitplatz was amazing and made added to a wonderful experience of German culture. Just a warning for those with heavy luggage. There is no lift and we were on the 3rd floor! One of the girls on staff kindly carried one of our bags up the spiral staircase, which was very much appreciated!”
“The staff spoke English, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even stored our luggage free of charge for a few days whilst we cycled down the Rhein River. The room was modern, beautifully furnished, the bathroom was large and bright and modern. Bottles of water were supplied. The room looks out over one of the town squares with quaint restaurants. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon during a festival and it was so vibey and nice. The location is central in the old town and very close to many restaurants and shops. Its only a few minutes to the river and Deutches Ecke. Fresh flowers in the room. Downstairs is a coffee shop serving lovely coffee and snacks. Beautiful details and lovely welcoming friendly staff. You do have to climb the stairs but its totally worth it! HIGHLY recommended.”
“The Aldstadt Hotel's location in the Old Town and directly on Jesuitenplatz was superb. Every morning and evening were heard the bells from the old Jesuit abbey and from anothe church on a nearby hill. That was wonderful. The Old Town was quaint and interesting, with shops, cafés, galleries and restaurants, and interesting town squares. The Alstadt is within walking distance of the Deutsches Eck, the point where the Rhine (Rhein) and Moselle (Mosel) Rivers meet. The hotel is also a short stroll from the landing docks for many tour boats along the Rhine and a few along the Moselle. We took a Rhine cruise and enjoyed it. Koblenz is an interesting and historical small city that can be explored using city buses that stop down the hill from the hotel near the Deutsches Eck and that stop a few blocks away uphill close to the Moselle. The hotel staff was friendly and most were helpful.”
“I was great to be in the town square and very quiet no traffic, cafe was good”
