Important Notice
- Please note that the Old Town is a pedestrianised area. Guests can drive to the hotel for unloading luggage. Access is only possible via Bergstraße. The reception provides reduced tickets for the Linzergasse public parking garage (at Glockengasse 4a).<br><br>Arrival and departure is possible from Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 11:00. From 11:00 onwards and on Sundays and public holidays guests require a code which is available upon request via the telephone. Guests can call Altstadt Hotel Stadtkrug free of charge from the bollard by the property.<br><br>Please note that air conditioning is not available.

“This is an incredibly historic (700 year old) hotel located on a walking street at the heart of Salzburg on the south side of the north side of the river. The rooms are small but the property is 700 years old. The breakfast was the best we had on our two week trip in Europe. It's an impressive spread of fruit, meats, cheeses, veggies, cereals, pastries, as well as made to order omelettes and other delights. Gunther, one of the hotel managers, was incredibly helpful in booking us tickets, offering advice, and keeping direct Austrian sense about him.”

“This is a nice old hotel in the historic heart of Salzburg. It is very comfortable. The location is great. Breakfast is very good with coffee and eggs made to order in addition to the regular buffet choices. The staff was helpful arranging a dinner concert and taxi service to the train station. I give them extra credit for having a great room safe which was large enough for a camera and laptop.”
