“The location in Freising near the airport is very good if you have a car and do not want to stay in downtown Munich or at expensive airport hotels. The airport is only about 15 minutes by autobahn or backroads right by gas stations to fill a rental car. There are German and Italian restaurants nearby, but we walked about 5 blocks to the town center and had an excellent dinner at Schrodl's. This is a quaint hotel with modern bathrooms. Breakfast is extra, and as we wanted to leave by 7, they did let us have access to the food at 6:45am.”
