“Einfaches Hotel. Wir hatten eine Suite mit Küche, leider war aber keine Kaffeemaschine oder Geschirr vorhanden. Aber ein Kühlschrank. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Die Wände und Türen waren frisch gestrichen. Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt. Zum Frühstück gab´s Toast und Bagel, Margarine, Marmelade, Orangensaft, Kaffee, auch Cerialien und Milch waren am Buffet. Für uns ungewohnt gab´s alles mit Plastikgeschirr und Besteck sowie Plastik- oder Styroporbecher. Sehr gut war die Lage, denn wir waren zur Formel 1 in Austin und in einer halben Stunde an der Rennstrecke.”
