“What a lovely stay. Great location to the safari and cheap compared to others aswell! Staff very friendly and helpful. Greeted with hot tea in the morning before our safari jeep arrived and even played a spot of badminton with the staff too! Highly recommended for a budget stay.”
“Although we booked early in that evening and arrived really late the service was excellent. Everything was ready for us and just great. Our host even arranged a safari in the early morning for us on the next day (which was awesome!!) with pick up from the guesthouse and a breakfast afterwards. The national park Udawalawe is just a short drive away. Otherwise there isn't much around nearby - except one small (surprisingly really good) restaurant directly on the other side of the T-junction on the main road. The service at Ath Paura Safari Resort was amazing - our host was so nice and concerned to arrange everything just as we wanted it to be. And all that for 6 Euros (plus 4 Euros for the breakfast) - simply incredible!!!!!”

“The rooms we had were massive and really comfy, much more than we were expecting for the cost! They arranged the elephant safari for us and made us breakfasts when we cake back. Super friendly but not invasive staff. Preferably the spot to crash for the night before a 5am safari!”
