“Nungwi is the best part of Zanzibar and this property is probably the best if you want to "feel" the destination away from big & mass resorts, still enjoy safety, great management and best of restaurant on site. Room is cleaned daily and they do it spotless! You get insider tips directly from the owner and i would recommend to book all excursions through him, as he picks best suppliers at the optimal prices. Breakfast is healthy and pretty enough as quantity, also you get it served until 12 pm, if you're not an early bird. I do recommend the restaurant within the property, as the chef is French, standards are high, hygienic one as well, and it's always delicious. Communication up front with the property owner is also very fast and accurate. And the garden is so peaceful and relaxing...”

“The accommodation was very nice, garden is very beautiful with coconut and banana trees and flowers. Breakfast was very good and served when you wake up ( preferably until afrernoon). Room was huge and the decor is unique. Staff is very nice and friendly.”

“Most beautiful place on the island! For the first time on Zanzibar we felt like we are not paying too much for our accommodation. Top notch bungalows, very clean, the beds smell nice, water pressure is mzuri sana, hot water is actually hot. Owners + staff are very nice and there is a restaurant in the garden(Very good Merlot). Our only problem with the place here, was that we both wanted to marry the chef, after our first dinner. Best hotel on sansibar in our 4 weeks here.”

“This is not on the beach (though it is only a 3 minute walk away) which is what I liked most-its quietly nestled in a garden with papaya, several different kinds of banana, and passion fruit trees. The best part is the restaurant. Stefan makes the best food on Nungwi and I dare someone to say any different. I ate here every night and was never disappointed. The room was spacious and clean with a massive bed, mozzie net and aircon. The patio out front of my room had 2 comfy papisan chairs you can pass out in and not worry about any tout waking you asking you to snorkel with them or buy a bracelet. Across the road is a little store selling beer, water, liquor and snacks which was convenient. Atii is located close to all dive shops and main hotels and is the best deal in Nungwi!!”
