“Our room was in a lovely 'pavillion' of four rooms - two on each floor, reached by walking downhill from the entrance. Very spacious with seating outside with a table and also two loungers, overlooking a valley (and building works on the other side) - sea in the distance. Good sitting inside, too, with a table and two chairs, 4 poster (sort of) bed and very spacious bathroom. Gardens were lovely to walk through, with interesting plants, friendly gardeners and a terrace with loungers and a small pool outside the dining room.”
“Very good breakfast wide variety on offer. The beds were very comfortable well padded top to firm mattress , tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Wonderful gardens planted with great care and well maintained. Very helpful and efficient staff. A well run hotel.”

“The hotel is perfect - the staff were fantastic; rooms very comfortable and immaculately clean, with our own private terrace with table, chairs and loungers with fabulous open views over the coastline and out to sea. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening - the food (and wine selection) was excellent. We ate breakfast outside on the lovely terrace - generous, varied and quality breakfast. This hotel is great value too. Only reason I marked the location as good rather than excellent (in all other respects the hotel is excellent) is that you do need to have car in this part of Island, although there are some buses and taxis.”
