“We got an upgrade from a standard twin room to a suite which we noticed ourselves. The hotel is in a nice area, with good restaurants and shops. The public transportation is really close by, 2 min to the bus stop and 5 min to the metro station. The internet connection was good, the room was big with a big bathroom and a dressing table in the bathroom.”
“We stayed for 7 days. Location is good. Walk only a few minutes to reach Sai Yin Pun station entrance. Many restaurants and several convenience stores (7 Eleven & Circle K) nearby. The hotel is in the older part of the town, with mostly small shops that cater to locals. Prices of food and other goods are reasonable.”
“The staff was attentive. Rooms were largest we have had in Asia. Nice to have bar fridge. Great local restaurants next door on Water Street. The trolley stops right in front of hotel and makes getting around in Central HK easy.”
“Room size is bigger than most hotels in Hongkong. We did not buy BF, too expensive; since it is close to local greasy spoon shops, we have lots of choice for BF. Bed is comfy, bathroom clean (US standards), WiFi strong and staff is helpful. We love riding the tram, which is very cheap (barely 15c) and it drives us all the way to downtown. And the tram stop is right in front of hotel. I have recommended this hotel to many people, including my sister & relatives.”
“I paid more for the upgraded room with separate bedroom. very comfortable and roomy. couch a little small but overall a nice place. nice people. no issues.”
“Great location. Good hotel for the price in Hing Kong, especially if booked early.”
“The location is excellent. Easy access to airport, metro and tourist destinations. Rooms are large and upper floors offer great view of the harbour. Breakfast options are good for most tastes.”
“I loved the location of the hotel. It is in front of the Water Street tram stop and is within walking distance of 2 MTR exits - between Sai Ying Pun and HKU. The concierge is helpful and efficient. I stayed in a twin deluxe room with an attached shower and toilet. Room is clean, fairly large by HK standards and decent although the decor was dated. Location is excellent, being near amenities (7-Eleven, Circle K, Starbucks, money changer, a little breakfast dim sum place, ATMs). I struggled to determine if this is a pro or con, but opted to see it as a pro from a security angle - after 9pm, you'll be asked by the lift attendant if you have a hotel access card and if you stay at the hotel before you get into the elevator.”
“We love the 2 room suites. If you get a room on a higher floor, you can even see the bay. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable; the staff is very helpful; and the location is convenient.”
“The bed was comfortable. The shower had very good pressure”
