“This is a lovely hotel, set deep in the tuscan hills with absolutely stunning views. It is quite isolated so you need a car to get there but it is a relatively easy drive from the main road. It is just a few miles from the public thermal spa at Saturnia, which is well worth a visit. The hotel rooms are simple but have everything you need, including air con, a mini fridge and a shower room. The grounds are beautiful, with lovely gardens and lots of wildlife (lizards in particular). The pool is by far the best feature - just stunning. We spent the morning relaxing in the water, looking out over the hills and watching the swallows (or maybe swifts) diving after flies on the surface of the pool. Magical!”
