“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Settting is nice. Very peaceful Courtyard and traditional architecture without being tacky. Room was nice. Good size for 2 people.”
“It's a nice little place. The rooms are simple but pleasant. The staff is nice and speaks English, though with variable proficiency.Being right off of a hutong is a nice addition to the experience of China. There's a few good nearby options for food, and Dengshikou subway station is just a couple of blocks away.The front desk is not 24 hours, since it is a small place, but if you contact them in advance, someone will be available for you if you're not arriving during their usual hours.Due to bad flight options and then delays, we didn't get to the hotel until 3:30 AM, but someone was there to check us in and show us our room, for which I have great appreciation. It was great to fall into a comfy warm bed after a long day.Also, check out the cute little koi pool in the lobby area. I'm sorry I didn't get around to taking a picture.”
“the Location close to the center, shops, banks, subway - all within easy reach. This paired with the really nice room itself made it a perfect package for us. The best however was the outstanding team running the small hotel - the ladies were incredibly helpful and nice - this was a wonderful experience. My wife and I arrived as customers and we feel that we left as friends.”
