“Staff was always friendly and helpful in many matters relating to English speaking tourists in the Netherlands. Jackie and Anita were especially charming. Room was quiet and comfortable - slept very well each night. Hotel very convenient to stores, restaurants in Assen Centrum as well as the Drenthe Museum (which was well worth a visit). Lekker ice cream parlor around the corner too. We visit family in Assen every couple of years. The BW De Jonge will be our home-away-from-home again.”
