“The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was above average with fruit and yogurts, however the sausages and sweet potatoe had supposedly run out at 8.30 am which meant there were only eggs available.”
“Great location and fine accommodations. The trolley runs all along St Charles. The stop is within a half block from the hotel. We went west to the zoo (a very nice zoo), and east to canal street on the west edge of the French Quarter. Purchase a zip (daily) pass from the driver for $3 and hop on and off for 24 hours. What a deal! No long waits. Trolleys come by every 10-15 minutes or so. Leave your car in the hotel's gated parking area, but arrive early as complimentary parking is first-come-first-served. Driving and parking in N.O. is a challenge. The trolley is a simple and fun solution. We were extremely pleased with our B.W. St Charles accommodation. If you are a light sleeper, you may want a room that does not face the street, as the trolley runs late. It did not bother us, for we appreciated the garden district views and relaxed atmosphere. St Charles Street is very wide with green space (for the trolley), trees, and historical homes in a nice neighborhood.”
