“The outdoor quad had metal tables and chairs w/ ashtrays for smokers. I don't smoke but some do and they deserve the right. Glad to see that provision. Breakfast area open at 5am.”
“Our room was clean and the toiletries were plentiful and a good brand too. The staff were friendly. There was a nice variety of food for breakfast. Even the coffee was good...not watered down. You can walk to shops like Boney's or Smart and Final for groceries. The ferry landing is walking distance. We took the ferry to downtown and had dinner at Seaport Village. During the summer, there's a free shuttle to get you the Hotel Del and everywhere in between. You can't beat the location or service at this place.”
“Within walking distance to the pier area with shops, restaurants, and a ferry to San Diego, lobby is open 24 hours, bicycles available to rent, they provide gym bags if you forget yours, the cleaning/kitchen staff is wonderfully polite and accommodating.”

“A couple block walk to the harbor where ou can take a ferry to San Diego . Going the otherway, a bus stop a block away to take you to the ocean beach about 3 miles, or it's a nice walk. Very nice area.”
