“This is a most curious hotel, occupying an ancient historic building right on the High Street. The rooms are up several twisting sets of narrow stairs and winding corridors on multiple levels, strangely numbered out of sequence, too! However once I'd actually found my room (!) it was delightful, cosy, fully modernised with brand new attractive ensuite. My goodness the old floorboards creaked though! I had a very pleasant stay and would certainly recommend this hotel.”
