“Magical place surrounded by Alpine nature just a short drive up the mountain from Alpbach. Bischofer Mountain Spa was easily the best nature getaway we've ever had. The room, spa facilities, views, breakfast and staff all get 100% from us. We were so impressed by the attention to detail and the hospitality of the staff. The hotel manager "Resi" was very kind and courteous, she made our stay very easy and comfortable. Definitely going back next year.”

“We came on April 30th and stayed for a week at this wonderful secluded 4-star hotel. We expected a luxurious and calm place and that and so much more! The ever changing views. The attention to details such as lit candles and burning fireplaces. Even in bad weather it's great because you can enjoy the spacious spa, sit in the hot tub on the outdoor deck or in the sauna with breathtaking views. It felt like a 4-star plus for us because we often had the entire place to ourselves. The staff is super friendly and easy going. We also found plenty gorgeous hikes in the surroundings and great restaurants nearby. Breakfast is good and their coffee is great. We would love to come back soon!”

“our room was wonderful with a fabulous view. The food was beautiful and the family and staff lovely. A very quirky and traditional family run mountain retreat, with an atmospheric Austrian restaurant with a lovely 3 course set menu...Sandra very happy to take us to the ski lift each morning and collect us from the ski bus in the evening..it's high above Alpbach and has a gorgeous and highly specked spa...we were even given a late check out at no extra cost as the room wasn't booked on our day of departure. An authentic and very lovely Austrian Alp experience...”

“You often hear the term boutique hotel banded around but rarely find something independent that still provides that five star experience. We’ve just had a break in the Bischofer Bergwelt and it’s undoubtedly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Although the place has a really rustic and traditional feel the rooms are very modern and clean. The facilities are great and the Spa area is quiet and a real treat with a mountain side outdoor hot tub. What really sets the place aside however is the staff. They’re hugely attentive and go out of their way to make your stay special. We were taken out for tobogganing experiences and to see the views and could always rely on breakfast being served and the travel to and from the ski lifts to be catered for. A true hidden gem.”

The Spa (Sauna, Steam Room & Outdoor Hot Tub) is wonderful with a million dollar view, the breakfast was delicious, and Franz was the most helpful host. If you're looking to get away to a very quiet Chalet in the Alps, this is the place!!”
