“The location was simply fabulous. There is only this cottage and the nearby Black Horse Beamish Restaurant and Bar that belongs to the same property. It is a 45 min drive from Newcastle. On the same property are an antique car workshop and museum cum sales. You will love it. Staying for a day is fine to enjoy the countryside. Accommodation is fine for a couple with two kids. A well-equipped kitchen is there in case you wish to cook. Food at the restaurant was very good.”

“Gorgeous cottage, rooms all furnished to a very high standard (particularly impressed by the amount of "Fat Giraffe" furniture!). Lovely comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen with a full "Le Creuset" range!”
