“I had high expectations based on Booking.com's information, and the hotel far exceeded them. Our party of three adults and a toddler occupied the huge two-bedroom suite with a view of the lake. The hotel is beautiful, the town of Hagnau is beautifully situated between the lake and the vineyard-covered hills, and Bodensee itself is one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen. We especially loved the two free public beach areas at either end of town, with playgrounds and places to eat nearby. We took the ferry to Mainu for a day; spectacular beauty as well as fantastic playground and activities--don't miss the butterfly house!”
